Carer's Allowance Supplement

Social Security Scotland is an executive agency of the Scottish Government. We help the people of Scotland by delivering a range of social security payments.

One of the benefits we deliver is the Carer's Allowance Supplement which is an extra payment made twice a year to people in Scotland who get Carer Support Payment or Carer's Allowance on a particular date. 

Carer's Allowance Supplement is an automatic payment. You do not need to apply for it. If you're due to get a payment, you'll get a letter from Social Security Scotland before the payment is made.
